Wizard of Id, BC and Fred Basset were very popular Comic Strips in Australia and worldwide. These Strips were collected into large soft-cover magazine size books reproducing strips as published in Australian newspapers. There were several publishers that produced these books The Australian (1968), Ibis (from 1969 to 1975), Beaumont (from 1976 to 1984) and Capricorn (from 1985 to 1986).
